We Love Pleats!!

The world of fashion is in love with pleats this season.  Pleats can make an outfit flowy and are perfect for the Spring and Summer seasons.  Pleats are able to give an outfit volume without adding bulk.

The trick to wearing pleats is to alternate:  If you are wearing a pleated skirt, wear a simple top and vice versa.  Generally you do not want to wear pleats on top and bottom, but there are always exceptions to every rule.

Here are our favorite pleated outfits.

Here we've paired a high-waisted, pleated skirt with a simple blush blouse and a wide belt.
We love contrasting the feminine skirt with edgy accessories!
Skirt is available in black (pictured), dark-purple, and camel.
Skirt- $27
 Top- $25
Belt- $20
Necklace- $20

This jumpsuit is a perfect start to wearing pleats.
It has subtle pleats in the top and the  bottom of the outfit falls straight.
Jumpsuit- $52.

New Trend: Contrast and Block Coloring!

Color-blocked or  color contrasting outfits are all the rage this season.  It's the perfect way to get more than one color into an outfit.  A color-blocked dress or top will have two or more contrasting colors to give the item splashes of color and uses bold blocks to give the outfit a subtle geometric design.
